President's wkd ranch style

This year we went to the ranch for Pres wkd. It has been so dry as far as snow goes, so we weren't quite sure what to expect for snow. Usually we have to take skis and sleds and walk or ski or four wheel in. So, in preparation, we stopped and bought a new cargo sled. One that we could haul in our bedding and food behind a four-wheeler but as luck would have it, we didn't need it!! Nope, the roads were packed all the way in. But we did find a surprise on the roof of the main cabin.... A fierce wind must have blown through! Luckily, the damage was very very minimal.

Tara and Tessa's family joined us as well as Dustin's mom and dad and my dad. We had such a great time. Everyone even got a chance to try out some cross country skis, except Allan because his feet are too big. I love the ranch... wish we lived closer. Dustin pulled the kids with the four wheeler.

Everyone helped clean up the tree mess.
